The Challenge

Quantum computing can’t scale without reliable, manufacturable qubit hardware. Most systems still rely on bespoke, lab-built processors that are slow to ship and impossible to standardize. QuantWare set out to industrialize superconducting quantum processors, making “quantum chips as a product” so any serious player can build a full-stack quantum computer without building a qubit factory first.

FORWARD.one involvement

We backed QuantWare early, when “Intel of quantum computing” was still a promise and a small team in Delft was obsessing over fabrication yields and 3D interconnects. We invested via a CLA at the earliest stage and have doubled down in every round since, including the Series A, combining capital with deep hardware conviction.

We helped sharpen the commercial strategy, opened doors to key customers and partners, and supported the company in scaling towards major system integrators and OEMs. Beau-Anne Chilla represents FORWARD.one on QuantWare’s supervisory board, ensuring governance, growth, and commercialization stay tightly aligned.

We want to make quantum computing accessible to every organization that wants to build with it.
